Remember my worst shopping experience. That was a Chinese fruit store and there were 2 shop assistants. When I came in the store, the 2 shop assistants came to me with a basket. To be honest, I did not like that feeling when you wanted to buy something by yourself. They followed me and gave me a feeling that they thought I was a thief, that is why I did not like. Then, they started to introduce their fruits, like Australian nectarines and Australian Blood oranges which had a really high price. Also, I did not like those fruits which they had introduced to me. Maybe that was the company’s regulations and requests that employees must have to do that. Out of courtesy, I asked about the information about the those fruits: Very sweet, good taste and more water with 39.8 CNY (equal 25 MYR)per 500 grams. That was totally expensive, but they still introduce. If you did not buy anymore, that would create a mentality which you could not afford it. At last, I bought half kilograms of both and other fruits I wanted to buy at the beginning. However, everything is wrong. The fruit I just bought is not so fresh, not as sweet as they are, so much water. Then I feel very distressed and feel that this shopping experience has failed. Even if I started to think about it, it was not pitted. Or they are deliberately selling fresh fruit, or employees are not cleaning up these inferior fruits in time. Be aware that in high-end fruit shops, the fruit under the lighting effect is shiny and looks good. Finally, with the current psychological thinking, the company is also likely to seize the customer’s purchasing psychology to carry out marketing strategies, which happens to be the same. Perhaps this is why I don’t like the salesperson following when I shop.
