For Neutrogena’s skincare products, our research population can choose from a group of students who are on college graduation exams or who are under stress, usually between the ages of 18 and 25. We can select 100-200 respondents from them and give them feedback in the form of small gift surveys. The method of qualitative investigation is to ask them the reasons for facial changes in the form of “yes and no”. The method of quantitative investigation is to write the reasons for facial changes and then pick them up. There may be many reasons for this.

Maybe I will choose a qualitative method to conduct research, because most of the quantitative is only depends on a part of the habits and insights, and the actual operation will be quite difficult and troublesome. We can ask the following similar questions:
–Do you find the goods you need in the Japanese department store, and are you satisfied with the consumption process?
–Is the item you are buying in a higher or lower level of consumption than a regular grocery store?
–Are you usually buying everyday items in a Japanese department store?
